The South African Haemophilia Foundation (SAHF) Names Executive Team:
Masoabi Clerment Sefojane: Chairperson
Louise Ellwood: Vice Chairperson
Lethabo Ramskin: Executive Secretary
John Bradley: Treasurer
Julie Malan: HOD (Operations)
Bradley Rayner: HOD (Projects and Programs)
Alex Stewart: HOD (Media)
Dr. Jan Du Plessis: Chairperson (MASAC)
Dr. Yasmin Goga: Chair Elect (MASAC)
Sr. Anne-Louise Cruickshank: Secretary (MASAC)
SAHF Executive Changes
Clerment Sefojane takes over as the foundation’s Chairperson.
Clerment, has served as the foundation’s Youth Council Chairperson for four years, succeeds Bradley Rayner, who has been a key figure in the foundation’s growth and transformation.
The SAHF today has become a model National Member Organization (NMO) in the region.
The team will build on the foundation that has been set for 52 years. The team will focus more on strengthening engagements for both patients and government involvement. The new leadership strives to create long-term relations with key stakeholders to realize the foundations’ fundamental objective of enabling access to optimal care for everyone, everywhere.

About South African Haemophilia Foundation
The South African Haemophilia Foundation (SAHF) is a non-profit organization that was established in 1970. The foundation is dedicated to advocating for the needs of the bleeding disorders community in South Africa. SAHF’s mission is to ensure that people with bleeding disorders have access to appropriate and quality care, education, and support. The organization also promotes research into bleeding disorders and encourages patient empowerment through education and community outreach.
The SAHF works closely with healthcare professionals (HCPs) through its Medical and Scientific Advisory Council (MASAC). The council is comprised of experts in the field of bleeding disorders who provide guidance and support to the foundation’s efforts. Together, SAHF and MASAC strive to improve the lives of people with bleeding disorders in South Africa through education, research, and advocacy. Through its various programs and initiatives, SAHF continues to make a significant impact in the bleeding disorders community in South Africa.
